Your nature dashboard
Which of my suppliers has the most remaining orangutan habitat?
Not all deforestation risk is equal. Keep track of your nature commitments and avoid reputation-damaging conflicts by monitoring your suppliers' nature risk exposure every month.
Dashboards are not public. They are only visible to subscribers.

The problem
Nature risk is rarely measured, and almost never compared
Habitat loss is invisible in most assessments. Certification covers only a fraction of plantations, and nature questionnaires measure policies, not performance.
Overlap is not the same as impact. A supply base inside orangutan habitat is an exposure, and without monitoring you cannot tell whether it is being cleared.
No common basis for comparison. Buyers asking about biodiversity have no way to tell one supplier from another.
The solution
Nature Risk Ratings measure exposure and impact across your supply base, every month
Supplier Ratings
Suppliers rated on how much of their sourcing area lies inside orangutan habitat, high carbon stock forest and primary forest areas, and how much has been cleared.
Learn moreMill Ratings
Nature ratings help you prioritize mills by the remaining and converted nature areas within the plantations and smallholder areas they likely source from.
Learn moreNature Cases
Receive monthly notifications about urgent risk cases of ongoing orangutan habitat and primary forest clearance, with the evidence to compel a supplier response.

How it works
Nature risk accounts for remaining, lost and converted natural habitat
Map habitat overlap
Sourcing areas are mapped against orangutan habitat in Indonesia and Malaysia, and against protected and conservation areas worldwide. Habitat cleared within them is flagged.
- Estimated supplying plotsoverlap
- Smallholder areasoverlap
Calculate across supplying plots
Overlaps and loss are calculated across the plots estimated to supply each mill and the wider 50km sourcing area around it.
- Orangutan habitat converted
- Primary forest converted
- HCS loss since 2020
- Protected area overlap
Measure remaining and lost forest
Remaining and converted primary forest sets the global biodiversity baseline. High carbon stock forest is measured within the sourcing area, with loss since 2020.
Roll up and rank against peers
Results roll up to facilities and companies through published mill lists, and each company is ranked against comparable peers.
In scope today: orangutan habitat, high carbon stock forest, protected areas and intact forest landscapes. No published mill list? You can securely upload a private mill list to see Nature ratings for your supply chain, suppliers, mills and facilities, and identify cases for engagement. Your rating is only visible to you and your team. It does not affect subscriber-facing ratings.
Benefits
What changes for you
Measured, comparable nature scores. Every company is measured with the same methodology and compared to its peers, so you can answer habitat questions with a number rather than a policy statement.
Track habitat loss monthly. See clearance inside orangutan habitat and protected areas while you can still act, not when it arrives as an NGO report. Monthly email notifications alert you to changes and urgent cases.
Exposure apart from impact. Sourcing inside habitat is not the same as clearing it. The rating shows both, so buyers and investors see where your suppliers are and what they have converted.
No questionnaire or plot disclosure. Ratings are based on your published or uploaded mill lists, not lengthy questionnaires with opaque scoring systems or private plot data.
